Two Sides

Migrant workers respond to comments made by Singaporeans
We often hear passing remarks being made about migrant workers, from the most unwelcoming ones to those of gratitude and appreciation. Some of which have even made its way online, sparking conversations and debates on social media and the Internet. But have we ever wondered how the workers would react to these comments when they see them?

And I Celebrated My Birthday Like Never Before!

And I celebrated my birthday like never before - the month-long celebrated was squeezed into two weeks in Singapore because I was away. So many dinners, so many laughs, so many friends, so many candles, so many good times. Feeling so much love from so many friends! :)

The only person missing was MM but I remain very positive that we will be next to each other soon enough. ;)

And a very late surprise birthday with my Google girls on 4 Feb!

Nightmares Are The Best Dreams

I read this thought-provoking sentence from a book today.

"A nightmare is the best kind of dream. The only one that brings happiness when it ends".

As an ever optimist, that's how I want to and will view nightmares from now on.

Communication, Trust and Respect

In my personal opinion, the cornerstone of an amazing relationship lies in communication, trust and respect.

What's yours? :)

What the Stars Say for This Week

The fog is lifting, Aquarius. Ever since Mercury turned retrograde on January 5, you’ve had a hard time seeing the forest for the trees. People have tested your boundaries and some have tried to take advantage of your kindness. If you had a few blue days, well, we wouldn’t be surprised. Happily, Mercury’s madness comes to an end this Monday, when the fleet-footed messenger planet shifts back into drive. No more excuses! If something — or someone — is toxic for you, it's time to cut them off. Having “just a taste” is only going to keep you stuck in a draining cycle. As for the people you love who have simply worked your nerves this month? Peace may come when you surrender and accept them for who they are. You can't change certain people — and if they need a legit therapist, help them research professionals instead of trying to fill in for that role. Is it time to hug it out with a frenemy? Mercury's U-turn helps you make amends over the next few weeks. Extend the olive branch and see what gives.

Sunday's quarter moon in Scorpio has you thinking like a tycoon. No more stalling on your 2016 career resolutions. The weekend will be ripe with opportunities for researching and strategic socializing. Find out where the influencers are partying and plant yourself there. With your Aquarian charisma and comedic chops, you'll have no trouble breaking the ice. Have you been working a little too hard for the money? Use Sunday to devise savvier systems and lifehacks so you can leave the office before 9 p.m. next week.

I Am Feeling Differently About London

And so I went to London for the second time this year to spend Christmas and New Year's in the chilly town.

I feel differently about London this time. In a very good way. :)

Star Wars vs Google Search

Watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Kitty at the IMAX today. I was thoroughly entertained for the two hours in 3D format.

I guess Google doesn't exist in their world because it would have made everything so much easier...
