Man United On Top Again!

So yet again, we are on top of the table with a 3 points lead. Finally, after almost god-knows-how-many-months, I can finally hold my nose high and made snide remarks to non Man-U fans whom I also addressed as losers.

Yet again, Man U is going to take the trophy home and throw it onto the pile of the many trophies the club has collected. You can go eat dust. True story.

The Best & The Worst

The best and sweetest intention can bring about the worst misunderstanding. I hate this feeling. :(

A First Proposal

I think I received a proposal last night. My very first proposal! I can't believe someone would be foolish enough to go down this path. It was from someone whom I do not think is a typical Singaporean guy but yet, proposed in the most typical Singaporean way - by asking somewhere along the lines of "Do you want to get a HDB together?"

Where has all the romance gone? Whatever happened to this?!

The Hunters' Hunger Game

I was under the impression that The Hunger Game is The Hunter Game. And there I was wondering what's with the grammar error in title. The Hunter Game should really be The Hunters' Game. Haha. I know, I should be more well-read. Like literally.

Spring Has Arrived

A welcome additional to my desk. So they say Spring is here. :)

You Can't Expect

If you don't want to lay your head on the guillotine, you can't expect me to do the same. So, do you want to take the first dip?

The Arabic Salmon

It's Googlewood* day! So we were treated to an afternoon of popcorn, nachos and a most delightful movie Salmon Fishing in Yemen. I thought the dagger on the Sheikh looked familiar. Oh, I saw the same one in Oman! Ian nearly bought one for US$100! And I nearly got myself a shisha pipe for too much money. Speaking of shisha... But I digress...

While watching the movie, I have this sudden urge to run away and live my dream of living in a foreign place and learning a foreign language. The unknown, the struggle, the frustration, the challenge, the excitement, the happiness... One can only yearn.

*Play on Hollywood. Duh!

Let The Truffula Tree Grow, God Damnit

The lengths a boy would go for the girl he loves. Everyone says "Awwww".

PS: Why does the boy have a segway-lookalike - could Dr Seuss foretell the technology of the future?

What Is That Jessie J Wearing?

What do you get for a $133 concert?

(ONLY) Two costume changes which involved removal of wrap skirt and donning a leather jacket.
No dancers - I'm surprised she has back-up singers.
No projector screens.
No backdrop for stage.
No lightstick gift.
Having the audience (kids, no less) as guest performers.

Well, I get to see Jessie J in a pink maxi dress. I guess that's what you call value for money.

No Men In Tights

An arts festival without ballet?! That's preposterous!

When The Going Gets Tough

The pressure's on. You had 48 hours to comply. The clock is ticking. Just a few hours before the cookie crumbles.

The Empty Glass

I love how when the drinks are in others' hands, she would say "da*". And never so when the drink is in her hand.

*Da translates to bottoms up in Hokkien.

They Must Never Know

Wii: So when are you marrying Wendy?
Gustavo: No, not anytime soon.
Wii: Does she know it then?
Gustavo: Haha. No, they must never know.

I Can't Wait

Jessie J fell sick and cancelled her concert in OZ! Sending lots of love so she'll recover in time for her 20th March concert in Singapore! Can't wait to put a price tag on it!

Oysters For Lunch

No matter I looked from the left or the right, the lunch at work today looked most scrumptious! Oysters galore!

Anyone Would Be

After a oyster galore dinner at The Line, Shangri La...

Chewy: This is a good dinner. I had fun tonight. I'm so happy!
Wii: After six glasses of sparkling wine, anyone would be.

This Means War

Absolutely loved this movie! Such predictability and yet, such clever lines.

Abigail Leigh Spencer is hot hot hot! The guy didn't get Reese but he got hot Abigail! No loss there, I'd say.
