Cabs Makes Me Stupid

The cab rides to and from work are making me stupid. I don't ever read anymore. My books are crying out loud for my attention. I can almost hear them...

It Gets Worse (The Sequel)

It's July and I have bought tickets to a performance slated for November.

I need help. Is there a 12-step program out there for me? TA (tickets anonymous)?

What The Stars Say For 14 July 2007

The stars say, "Little alterations early in the day can have a huge ripple effect on your routine".

Yeah, waking up early is going to make me damn sleepy by the end of the day and have a huge effect on my clubbing routine!

Excuses, Excuses

This Miss Lim Qiaojing...

We met for ice cream and Macs last night. Today, she took MC.

She is using me as an excuse to not go to work.

This Miss Lim Qiaojing...

You Are All Wrong

Qiaojing: It's you. You gave this impression that you are independent and need no taking care of. Needy girls have this "I need someone to take care of me! Someone please take care of me!" look. (Qiaojing accompanied the last line with hands waving frantically in the air to best demonstrate her point.)

Me: It's not that I need someone to take care of me. It's that I want someone to take care of me. That's the diff.

All of you ARE wrong. Yes, all of you. Yes, so wrong.

The phone beeped.

"Do you wanna go mambo?"

Unbelievable! The message is from Ying. Who'd have expected that? Even Qiaojing was shocked. That message should have came from me, not Ying.

Ying wants to go Zouk where the kids hang out and thereby, she wants to feel younger. Don't ask me why she has the weirdest plans for such things. She just does. Apparently, that plan didn't pan out. Looking at all the kids reminded us of when we were 17 (which I insist is only two years ago! Fine, it's three. Okay okay, I won't lie anymore. It's four.). How four years have passed so quickly...

Chewy Has Finally Grown Up

Chewy's convocation is TODAY!

I'm so proud of her. Daddy is so proud of her. Mummy is so proud of her. Owen is so proud of her. And she landed herself a job at Morgan Stanley just two weeks before. How wicked is that!

The day has finally come. The day Daddy and I retire. The day Chewy supports us. No words can express my joy. No, not the joy that Chewy's graduated. That's her joy.

My joy is that I can finally sit back, relax, have a cuppa and watch Chewy slave away for us. Hee.

She agreed to this herself, when she accepted the sunflowers I sent. The card read "Now you have to support me!"
Acceptance of flowers = acceptance of card = acceptance of agreement in card.
It's a legal-binding agreement. I've checked.

Yes, I have decided to post pictures at last.
