Just Cruisin' Along
Just came back from the cruise trip (with Ying and Qiaojing) yesterday. I didn't eat no strawberry tarts! Got a lousy fever instead. Hmff!

However, I did go shopping at Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur when we disembark on the second day. The spoils: four pairs of gorgeous shoes and four lovely bags. The time taken: Three hours. I’m getting better at this shopping thing. :)

This pair of shoes is a Prada rip-off. Absolutely adore it! Love it! I got two pairs. Haha~ A girl needs backup, as you should know..

This pair of heels is perfect for first dates! Very comfy too.

I’m too lazy to take pictures of my lovely bags. You should what you should do then. Ask me out more often and you’ll get to admire them. The anticipation! The anticipation!

Have I mentioned Qiaojing and I won $27 at the casino? $13.50 each. Not bad, not bad at all.
I saw my cousin, Ah Xiong kor kor, on board! What are the chances?! It’s truly a friendster world out there. Whahaha~

I realised I like to overpack. I have more than enough clothes to last me five days. It’s a three-day cruise. I’m ridiculous. I know.

I have another week of holidays for the next seven days. Yeah~ I’m just cruisin’ along.

This Song Is For You
Snakes and Ladders by Joss Stone
In the game of love
It takes all you got
Just to keep it moving up
Don't you wanna reach the top
But heaven seems such a crazy dream
If your heart has room for doubt
You're neither in you're neither out

99 1/2 it just won't do
You gotta give me all of you
Not asking too much of a heart that's true
So tell me...
What's the name of the game that we are playing
But whenever I think that we are winning
Then you roll the dice take a slide
Right back to the one from 99

Is it gonna go on like this forever
Are we gonna to take that last step together
Going round and round and up and down
Feels just like snakes and ladders

Baby don't it feel like a carousel
Where all the world is rushing by
But when it stops you realize
That you're right back where you started at
I need a little more than that
It time for us to face the facts

Whether to be or not to be
That is the question so it seems
We're going nowhere in between
So tell me...

Don't wanna play this game no more
I gotta know right now for sure
What am I giving my heart for?
Baby I need a little more
Don't leave me hanging on a string
Now that I gave you everything

Not when I play to win
Snakes and ladders

[Chorus (2x)]

The First In A Decade For Today
I achieved a first today. Again. :)

Today, I went ice skating for the first time in a freaking decade! I can't even remember when was the last time I skated. I only know, for sure, I have only been ice skating not more than thrice in my entire 24 years of life.

Jaslin claims she doesn't know how to skate. This girl's a natural, I tell you.
Qiaojing doesn't want to let go of the handrail at all!
I'll bet the fond memories came flooding back to Chewy when she was on the ice.
When are we going ice skating again?

I love New York by Madonna
I don't like cities
But I like New York
Other places make me feel like a dork
Los Angeles is for people who sleep
Paris and London, baby you cant keep baby you cant keep
Other cities always make me mad
Other places always make me sad
No other city ever made me glad
Except New York
I love New York
I love New York
I love New York
If you don't like my attitude
Then you can F off
Just go to Texas
Isn't there where they golf?
New York is not for little pussies who scream
If you can't stand the heat
Then get off my street
Get off my street
You get off my street
Get off my street
Just get off my street
Other cities always make me mad
Other places always make me sad
No other city ever made me glad
Except New York
I love New York
I love New York
I love New York

The Shape of Things To Come

I cannot believe this. Miss Fung (aka Jessica) didn't go clubbing with me last night (Saturday). She said she has to wake up at 7am for church on Sunday and thus, we can only go clubbing on Fridays. The thing is, there aren't no nice party places on Fridays.

I told her matter-of-factly, "We'll party till 6am and then you can go straight to church lor." Apparently, Miss Fung and I don't see eye-to-eye on this issue. My solution to this problem is the best possible, no?
What does this signifies? Does this mean Jessica and I aren't going to bring the house down no more? THIS IS NOT GOOD. NOT GOOD AT ALL!

Miss Fung, do something about this!

Anyway, we (Qiaojing, Junling and Junling's friend) celebrated Junling's birthday last night (Saturday). The birthday girl is a alcoholic. After we downed our waterfalls (Junling had two), she wanted more drinks. I was just kidding when I said I wanted five tequilas. She bought ten, on top of the four we already had. This girl has serious issues. But that's THE way to celebrate a birthday, no?

This must be the first time Qiaojing drank so much. She keep asking, "Who made me drink so much?" You don't want to be there to witness what I witnessed.

Anyway, we had a blast. The music was good. The crowd was good. We had seven thousand, three hundred and sixty-nine tonnes of fun!

We would have seven thousand, three hundred and seventy tonnes of fun if Jessica was around. (FYI, a tonne is a thousand kilograms, so this is a lot of fun I'm talking about.)

The shape of things to come is not a good shape. If Jessica is not around.

This Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day, I don't want no ferrying around in a luxurious limousine, no exquisitely arranged 99-roses bouquet, no five-course candlelight dinner at a swanky French restaurant, no Arbois Vin Jaune 1997 to go with the Foie Gras, no five carats Harry Winston diamond jewellery, no awing fireworks to end charming evening.

This Valentine’s Day, all I want is my Ah Ma to get well and be healthy.

There's Always A First For Everything.

In life, there's always a first for everything.

First time you walk; first time you talk; first time you go to school; first time you skipped school; first time you fall in love; first time you fall out of love.

Today (Sunday), for the first time, I went fishing. Fishing in a fish pond with lots of fishes which wouldn't take the fish bait.

The place: Farmart.
The location: Lim Chu Kang.
The people: Junyao and primary school mates whom I have not met since, well, primary school.
You can call the place either Farm-Art or Far-Mart. I think the latter is better cos the place is at Lim Chu Kang!

There's this big (all fishes are big to me) fish that keeps trying to beach itself, just like the whales. I hope most killer whales will just beach themselves. I saw a documentary and the stupid killer whales ate my favourite penguins! Hmff! How dare they! They must not have heard that I love penguins. Now, I'm waiting for someone to hunt some killer whales and make whale stew for Ah Boy (Merlin the Cat). Where's my whale stew?

I digress.

It was quite an experience. I helped reel in a big fish (you'd noticed how I mention the word 'big' before the word 'fish' every single time). Never knew big fishes can struggle so violently. I always thought those people on Discovery channel over-reacted and are damn drama whenever they get a catch. Now, I know better.

The big fishes are really something. They ate my bait. Period.

I didn't catch no big fish, but I figured I will the next time. If there is a next time.

The only thing I don't like about the place is the freaking huge amount of huge lizards they have. Not good at all. I don't even dare look up the walls when I walked to the washroom. Need to bring Ah Boy there to eradicate all the lizards. Maybe I should rent Ah Boy to them.

Listen up, everyone. You have a pest problem. Give me a call. Ah Boy can solve it in no time at a reasonable rate of $10/hour. Money back guarantee.

Hm... when will it be Ah Boy's first job?

Now, you're not allowed to read my blog unless you can answer this question.

What is the cutest animal on Earth?

Penguin, you say?

Good, go on and read then.

I can tell you are a highly intelligent individual. Bright future ahead of you, I'll tell you.

I've redeemed myself. I always do.

Jessica and I danced the night away at Dbl O last night (Friday). I have redeemed myself. I told you I will, but who wouldn't after one and a half Waterfall, two Bacardi Breezers, some Volka Red Bull, some Bourbon Coke (hate this drink!). haha~

Chee Kiat (a jc mate) was celebrating his birthday. He's weak. He got pissed drunk. Chee Kiat, you should sign up for the drinking boot camp too. With Karen.

Qiaojing, Ying, Weihao and Jaslin came over to Causeway Point and we had Yu Sheng again today! As you must be well aware of, I dont take vegetables unless necessary. Yu Sheng is the only vegtable dish, I think, that I eat willingly.

They came over after lunch to play mahjong today. Lost $2. Don't the people nowadays know that you are not supposed to win money from the person whose house you go to? THE RULES, PEOPLE!

New rule for mahjong from today onwards. I can choose to skip a turn or choose not to throw a tile when I feel like it. I dont care!

I won't go down without a fight!

In life, there’s always a first and a last.

A first: I went to watch the Chingay parade at Orchard Road on Saturday.
A last: I went to watch the Chingay parade at Orchard Road on Saturday.

I wonder why the papers didn't mention me. Come to think of it, it's most probably because I said, "On a scale of one to ten, ten being the best. I'll give the Chingay a zero."

At least I'm honest.

Qiaojing, Ying, you guys saw me in the papers, no?

Anyway, went Dbl O (yes, yet again) after the waste-of-my-time parade. I have a confession that'll send you falling off your chair.

I didn't dance a single bit at all! *runs over and helps Miss Fung up*

I understand if this piece of information is mind boggling.

It cannot be! It just cannot be happening!

All I did was stand around the bar and drank like a fish. Ha~

I think I'm going down. NO!!! I won't go down without a fight. I will redeem myself this Saturday!

Everyone knows I've been dying to meet a true blue New Yorker.

I met an Aussie two weeks ago.

I met a Chicago-er (keke) last week.

I met an Indian last night.

I have crossed three continents.

New York is soon. I can just smell it.

Nobody will believe me if I say an underaged kid got into MOS last night.

Nobody will believe me if I say two underaged kids got into MOS last night.

The truth is what it is.
Trust me when I say I cannot believe it either.

This ministry has very lax checks, no?
